Really, transport flesh-and-blood human bodies to other stars, on generation ships taking 6000 years to reach the closest system? That in an idea of early science fiction. I do not believe homo sapiens, in its current evolutionary state, will even colonize our own solar system. I have written about this in my Medium article Populate the planets? Really? My arguments are even more applicable to the galactic neighbourhood.
